Caravan Rally Gallery

John Heppenstall brought us a Dunlop newspaper all about the 1973 Caravan Rally, which is reproduced here in full as it illustrates perfectly the absolute lunacy of the event. This was the year before John Clegg did it, but the Grewer/Charig duel at Silverstone detailed here was repeated a year later, when Deryck Pickup was there in Cleggy’s service crew and saw the entire performance.
